Appeals are processed by the Office of Financial Aid and are typically reviewed once per week by the Appeals Committee. You should expect to hear back within two weeks of submitting your appeal (as long as you have submitted all of your supporting documents). In the box below, please outline the circumstances that are the basis for your appeal.

You typically must provide supporting documentation for your appeal letter. Additional information about what kind of supporting documentation is necessary for your appeal, and what types of appeals are honored, is available on our website: https://www.oxy.edu/financial-aid/special-circumstances
All supporting appeal documents should be uploaded through IDOC.
This appeals process is exclusively for families whose information has changed in regard to their need-based financial aid award.
Students are considered for merit-based awards at the time of admission. Decisions regarding merit-based scholarships are final. There is no appeal process for merit-based awards.
