Alumni Interview Request

Interviews aren’t required, but Oxy alumni are available across the nation and in select international cities if you’d like to schedule one. But if you live within 150 miles of campus, we ask that you come to Oxy for your interview.

High school seniors graduating in 2018 may submit a request. (If you are applying for Early Decision I, you must submit your request by October 15, 2017.) We’ll do our best to connect you with an alumni representative in your area. If we do not have a representative in your area, someone from the Office of Admission will contact you directly with other interview options.  Please note that alumni interviewers are volunteers and have limited availability, so we strongly encourage you to request interviews at least 6-8 weeks in advance of our application deadlines.

Please allow up to four weeks for the alum to contact you directly. Our alumni will not have Oxy email addresses, so be sure to watch your inbox (and spam folder) closely for a message. If you have any questions, please contact Olivia Martinez (omartine@oxy.edu).

REMINDER: All types of interviews (whether on campus or off; with an alumni representative, senior fellow, or admission officer) are weighed equally in our admission process. Thank you for not scheduling more than one interview.
