New International Student Orientation
AUGUST 13-16, 2026
This program is required for all incoming international students with an F1/J1 visa and optional for other students with international backgrounds. Held just before New Student Orientation, it offers personalized support to help you acclimate to Los Angeles, navigate life in the United States, and begin your Occidental experience with confidence.

New Student Orientation
AUGUST 17-24, 2026
Orientation kicks off your journey at Occidental with a week of connection, exploration, and community. You’ll meet classmates, get to know campus, and start building the foundation for your college experience—academically, socially, and personally.
New Family Orientation
AUGUST 17-18, 2026
Held alongside New Student Orientation, this optional program offers parents and families a chance to learn more about campus life, meet Occidental staff, and explore how to support their student’s transition to college.
