Occidental College: NACAC Counselor Programs

Occidental College is excited to host college counselors on our beautiful campus as we all gather in Los Angeles for the 2024 NACAC Conference. Our counselor tour program will include a brief overview of the College with an admission officer, a campus tour with a current student, and the opportunity to meet the enrollment team and ask individual questions over light refreshments. Attendees should plan to be on-campus for 90 minutes total, not including travel time to and from Occidental.

Additionally, college counselors are welcome to join us for a reception on Wednesday, September 25. This will be an informal opportunity to enjoy the beautiful campus with a cocktail in hand, while you mingle with admission officers and your colleagues in college counseling. Campus tours will also be offered throughout the reception for those who will not have the opportunity to attend the counselor tour program separately.

Please note that optional chartered bus transportation will be provided from the Los Angeles Convention Center on select dates, in accordance with NACAC conference guidelines. For the counselor tours, buses will depart the convention center 30 minutes before each campus visit, and return to the convention center 30 minutes after the end of the on-campus program. For the counselor reception, buses will be available between 3:30 and 8:30 pm.
