Campus Visits and Information Sessions

We are looking forward to welcoming you to campus!

Your visit will start with an information session led by an admission officer, who will provide information about the academic and co-curricular opportunities available on campus and an overview of Oxy's admission and financial aid processes. Following the information session, students and their families will embark on a guided tour of campus with a student tour guide. You may also choose to embark on a self-guided tour at your leisure.

    • All guests must wear masks anytime they are inside campus buildings and remain at least six feet away from anyone outside of their party.
    • Guests are only permitted to enter into campus buildings when accompanied by a student tour guide, with exception of the Campus Bookstore.
    • Guests are only allowed to use the designated visitor restroom outside of Booth Hall while not in their information session. These restrooms will be frequently cleaned throughout each day. Guests may use the restrooms in Thorne Hall only during their information session time.

By registering for an on-campus visit you are agreeing to adhere to these guidelines. As a prospective member of our Oxy community, please join us in respecting the rules that are in place to keep all of our community members safe.

If you are interested in learning more about Occidental but are unable to join us on-campus, we invite you to register for an online information session. The Office of Admission is also ready and available to help answer your questions at or by calling 323-259-2700.
